It's been a long time
Amazingly I don't think I have written anything here since Molly was christened. Which was Mothers' day back in March. Can you believe how slack I have become??
Anyway - major news in the Sharp household is that Molly is going to be having a younger sister - all name suggestions to be posted here please! Not that we'll listen too much. Juanita seems to change her mind every week about which new celebrity name she is going to give to the new baby. I feel quite sorry for it already!
Without boring you about all the fun we've been having, those who are interested in Molly's development will want to know that since she was brought into God's house formally, she has developed 8 teeth (quite/ relatively painlessly), has grown quite long and has quite long hair. She has also learnt how to crawl up and down stairs, and finally, to walk.
She had a lovely 1st Birthday party about 3 weeks ago, with Jelly & ice cream, and lots of exciting presents. She has now been promoted a class at nursery, and has left behind all the slow developing kids, to launch herself into a bigger pond. We expect great things, and are always on the lookout for the use of the word "gifted". Not that we're pushy parents or anything.
We've just got back from 2 weeks in Salcombe in Devon, which was absolutely stupendous. Can you believe we actually had 2 weeks of solid sunshine, and went to the beach nearly every day? Molly is most proficient at destroying sandcastles, and of attracting any number of small kids to dig her deep holes to hide in. She also tried to swim in the sea countless times, without actually realising how cold it was, or that she couldn't really drink as much of the water as she would like.
Without further ado, some photos are to be posted - enjoy them!
